A NEW DIRECTION FOR MTIMPEX: WORKING TOGETHER TO GIVE SMARTPHONES A SECOND LIFE
From parts supplier to partner in repair and refurbishment. Driven by European developments, entrepreneurship, and respect for people, the environment, and natural resources.
At MTimpex, we believe that a smartphone deserves more than a short lifespan.

For 30 years, we have supported wholesalers and professional repair technicians with smartphone parts, accessories, tools, and repair solutions across Europe and now also in Asia. Over the years, we have built a strong foundation. With an extensive range of approximately 40,000 SKUs, MTimpex is one of the largest suppliers in Europe and Asia. We work with international partners and have our own quality control team in China. We provide high-quality products, which is why our slogan is: Crème de la crème quality, beyond every expectation. Yet the market is changing, and with that change comes greater responsibility. That is why MTimpex is taking the next step in its development. We want to do more than supply parts; we also want to actively contribute to a future in which repair, refurbishment, and reuse play a greater role.

EUROPEAN RIGHT TO REPAIR LEGISLATION AS A KEY DRIVER
An important reason for this strategic shift is the European Right to Repair Directive, officially Directive (EU) 2024/1799. Through this directive, the European Union aims to make repairs more attractive and accessible, extend product lifespans, and reduce unnecessary waste. The directive has applied since 31 July 2026. In addition, European ecodesign requirements for smartphones and tablets have applied since June 2025, with a focus on aspects including repairability, spare parts, and software support. These developments confirm our belief that repair and reuse are becoming increasingly important to the future of the electronics industry.
For MTimpex, this is not just a change in legislation. It is also an opportunity to use our experience, product range, and knowledge in new ways. We want to contribute to a market where a faulty device is not automatically replaced, but where people first consider whether it can be repaired, restored, or reused.

DOING BUSINESS SUSTAINABLY WITH RESPECT FOR PEOPLE, THE ENVIRONMENT, AND NATURAL RESOURCES
Every smartphone is part of a global production chain. Manufacturing requires metals, minerals, energy, and water, among other resources. The extraction and processing of raw materials can affect the environment and the people working throughout the supply chain. At the same time, smartphones are frequently replaced even though, with proper repairs, they could often remain usable for years. We believe it is important to handle these valuable products and resources more responsibly. By keeping smartphones in use for longer, repairing components, and bringing suitable products back to the market, we can help reduce unnecessary waste. Repair and refurbishment do not solve every problem in the production chain, but they offer practical ways to preserve the value of existing products for longer. For us, sustainable business means more than caring for the environment. It also means taking responsibility for how we source products, the quality we deliver, and the partners we work with.

FROM PARTS TO COMPLETE REPAIR SOLUTIONS
Our new direction builds on what MTimpex has been doing for almost 30 years. We will continue to focus on wholesalers and professional repair technicians. Our existing product range, international relationships, and experience will remain the foundation of our business. At the same time, we want to develop our offering further in three areas.
Parts: quality components
We will continue investing in a broad range of smartphone parts, including LCD displays and other essential components needed to professionally restore devices.
Repair: professional repair solutions
We aim to support repair technicians with suitable tools, repair machines, and technical solutions that enable them to work efficiently and deliver high-quality results.
Refurbish: preserving value
We aim to further develop our range of refurbishment equipment and related components. This will help professionals restore and test used screens and smartphones wherever possible, making them available to the market again. In this way, we are developing further as a partner for businesses looking to expand their repair and refurbishment activities.

QUALITY REMAINS OUR FOUNDATION
For us, sustainability and quality go hand in hand. A repair is only truly valuable when the result is reliable and the restored product can genuinely be used for longer. That is why quality remains central to our strategy. With our own quality control team in China, we focus on inspecting products close to the production chain. We want to continue offering our customers high-quality products, reliable service, and strong value for money. Our ambition is to combine the highest standards of quality with solutions that support repair and reuse. The better the quality of parts and repairs, the greater the chance that products will retain their value.

BUILDING CHANGE TOGETHER WITH OUR PARTNERS
The transition to a more circular smartphone supply chain cannot be achieved alone. Wholesalers, repair technicians, refurbishers, manufacturers, and suppliers all have a role to play. By sharing knowledge, making the right equipment available, and working together on reliable repair processes, we can keep more devices in use and make them usable again. That is why we want to see our customers not merely as buyers, but as partners in this development. We aim to support them in expanding their repair activities, improving their processes, and making the most of new opportunities in the refurbishment market. In this way, sustainability can go hand in hand with entrepreneurship, innovation, and commercial growth.

OUR VISION: GIVING TECHNOLOGY A SECOND LIFE
At MTimpex, we believe in a world where smartphones are not discarded unnecessarily but are used for as long as possible. A world where repair and refurbishment are natural choices and technology does not come at the expense of people, the environment, and natural resources.

Our mission is to make professional smartphone repair more accessible by supporting repair businesses and refurbishers with quality parts, advanced equipment, technical knowledge, and reliable service. We want to help our partners repair more smartphones, reuse more components, and extend the lifespan of devices. This is the direction in which we want to continue developing MTimpex.
