At MTimpex, we believe that a smartphone deserves more than a short lifespan.
For 30 years, we have supported wholesalers and professional repair technicians with smartphone parts, accessories, tools, and repair solutions across Europe and now also in Asia. Over the years, we have built a strong foundation. With an extensive range of approximately 40,000 SKUs, MTimpex is one of the largest suppliers in Europe and Asia. We work with international partners and have our own quality control team in China. We provide high-quality products, which is why our slogan is: Crème de la crème quality, beyond every expectation. Yet the market is changing, and with that change comes greater responsibility. That is why MTimpex is taking the next step in its development. We want to do more than supply parts; we also want to actively contribute to a future in which repair, refurbishment, and reuse play a greater role.
EUROPEAN RIGHT TO REPAIR LEGISLATION AS A KEY DRIVER
An important reason for this strategic shift is the European Right to Repair Directive, officially Directive (EU) 2024/1799. Through this directive, the European Union aims to make repairs more attractive and accessible, extend product lifespans, and reduce unnecessary waste. The directive has applied since 31 July 2026. In addition, European ecodesign requirements for smartphones and tablets have applied since June 2025, with a focus on aspects including repairability, spare parts, and software support. These developments confirm our belief that repair and reuse are becoming increasingly important to the future of the electronics industry.
For MTimpex, this is not just a change in legislation. It is also an opportunity to use our experience, product range, and knowledge in new ways. We want to contribute to a market where a faulty device is not automatically replaced, but where people first consider whether it can be repaired, restored, or reused.

We believe it is important to handle these valuable products and resources more responsibly. By keeping smartphones in use for longer, repairing components, and bringing suitable products back to the market, we can help reduce unnecessary waste. Repair and refurbishment do not solve every problem in the production chain, but they offer practical ways to preserve the value of existing products for longer. For us, sustainable business means more than caring for the environment. It also means taking responsibility for how we source products, the quality we deliver, and the partners we work with.

Our new direction builds on what MTimpex has been doing for almost 30 years. We will continue to focus on wholesalers and professional repair technicians. Our existing product range, international relationships, and experience will remain the foundation of our business. At the same time, we want to develop our offering further in three areas.
Parts: quality components
We will continue investing in a broad range of smartphone parts, including LCD displays and other essential components needed to professionally restore devices.
Repair: professional repair solutions
We aim to support repair technicians with suitable tools, repair machines, and technical solutions that enable them to work efficiently and deliver high-quality results.
Refurbish: preserving value
We aim to further develop our range of refurbishment equipment and related components. This will help professionals restore and test used screens and smartphones wherever possible, making them available to the market again. In this way, we are developing further as a partner for businesses looking to expand their repair and refurbishment activities.
